Rai B. Nandan CGA, TEP, CFP has been practicing accounting since 1983 and has extensive experience in both industry and in public practice. His current expertise ranges from taxation, tax planning, trusts and estates, research and development, business financing and business acquisitions and sales. He has reviewed and edited the taxation chapters of the book, "The Complete Idiot's Guide to Estate Planning in Six Simple Steps for Canadians".
Rai has presented various seminars for the Certified General Accountants Association, the Ontario Government Business Immigration department and the Ontario Association of Naturopathic Doctors. He has lectured for Humber, Seneca, and Centennial Colleges, as well as the Certified General Accountants Association of Ontario. Rai has appeared on various radio and televisions programs as a guest speaker. He was a member of the Canada Revenue Agency Toronto West Practitioners Consultation Group and is a current member of the Canadian Tax Foundation.
Rai continues to volunteer for many not for profit organizations, on various boards and committees.
Janice Charko CGA, CFP has been practising in accounting since 1983. She has extensive expertise in financial statement preparation, personal and corporate tax planning, and management consultation. Her experience as a business auditor for Canada Revenue Agency continues to benefit her clients and their business.
Janice is currently enrolled in the "In-depth Taxation" Course. She also lectures Taxation and Financial Accounting for CGA Ontario and Humber College.
Janice has been actively volunteering in the community since 1985. She has been elected as a Governor for CGA Ontario and is a member of various committees. She is the recipient of the Ontario Distinguished Service Award, the John Van Dalen Award for exemplary service and the Toronto Chapter Distinguished Service Award.
Clara Nandan BA is our accounting software consultant. She is a Certified Consultant for both QuickBooks and Simply Accounting. Clara is responsible for all software installations and training of staff and clients on either software. Clara has been in the accounting field in various capacities since 1980, and also uses her experience in Human Resources to recruit staff for many of our clients.
