Allen Provost

With over 25 years of public accounting experience, Allen has established himself as a trusted advisor in the field. After obtaining his CA designation in 1998, Allen has operated in various capacities, including as a sole practitioner, a partner in a large local firm, and most recently, as a Principal in a large national firm. He also gained valuable experience in sales and internal support during his three years with a boutique insurance company.

Throughout his career, Allen has focused on advising owner-managed businesses, assisting with general tax compliance and financial statement preparation, and securing financing for growth or startup operations. He has extensive experience working with professional corporations for medical practitioners and lawyers, as well as manufacturing clients. Allen believes in the importance of face-to-face interactions and prefers to work on-site with his clients to gain a comprehensive understanding of their day-to-day operations.

This hands-on approach allows him to connect with key accounting personnel and the entire team, ensuring a thorough grasp of the business, making him a perfect advisor to assist business owners with major decisions or projects as their external, fractional CFO.

Outside of work, Allen enjoys spending time with his wife and two daughters, playing golf, and training for his next distance running goal.
