As a passionate enthusiast of world history and politics, my interest naturally extends to economics and finance—I dedicate equal time to reading and learning about both.

My North American public accounting journey began when I moved from India to Toronto in 2001 and later to New York City in early 2005. Between 2005 and 2008, I became licensed to practice in Michigan and worked as a senior accountant at a tier-one, PCAOB-registered firm in New York City, providing assurance services to public companies. While the world is vast, I deliberately chose to establish my practice in Southern and Eastern Ontario, where I am proud to serve as a partner at Turner Moore LLP.

After returning to Canada, I worked as a U.S. tax consultant for an international law firm in downtown Toronto in 2009. In 2010, I founded my own practice in Toronto, where I live with my family in Scarborough. Over the years, I have built strong relationships with local individuals and businesses, guiding them through tax and financial management complexities. In 2022, I expanded my practice by acquiring additional offices in Ajax, Toronto, Kingston, and Gananoque, further strengthening my ability to serve clients across Ontario.

My clientele consists of small to medium-sized businesses across various industries, including transportation & logistics, healthcare (physicians and dentists), retail (dollar stores, gas stations, liquor stores, and other shops), real estate (brokers and builders), restaurants, cleaning services, technology firms, and more. I represent clients before the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA), the U.S. Internal Revenue Service (IRS), and all 50 U.S. states, providing audit representation and cross-border tax advisory services for both individuals and businesses. Additionally, I assist non-residents of Canada and the U.S. with tax compliance matters, including Section 116 compliance for real estate transactions involving non-resident property sales in both countries.
