I’ve been a proud member of the Turner Moore Sarnia team since 2007 and recently accepted the opportunity to lead this mighty crew into the next phase of our firm and network growth, taking on the hard-won title of Partner — please hold your applause, there’s more!

Since I became a CPA in 2014 (actually, even long before that … ), I’ve engaged with the world through an accountant’s lens — fascinated with the statistics behind ANYTHING. As a person of great faith, which I don’t really need to quantify most days, two ways I serve my church community are 1) as Treasurer (since 2010), and 2) as Chair of the internal audit committee for the regional church conference.

Going to a professional or amateur sporting event is a ‘statistical wonderland’ for me and I revel in the numbers behind the action. Even in my shopping habits, stores like Giant Tiger are a theme park of value comparisons and churning inventory for me (so, you’ll understand that I’m usually shopping alone … ).

Just to make sure I have a full understanding of the operations of the many business clients we serve in Southwestern Ontario, I completed the CPA Canada In-depth Tax Course in 2023. And going straight to Giant Tiger to get a frame for my diploma.

I’m blessed to have a twin brother walking the earth with me, but occasionally, we’re mistaken for each other, and he is asked to field accounting-related questions (ugh.). So if you see me around town, always make sure it’s the CPA, not the pastor, when you ask a tax-related question.
