Even though I am a Chartered Accountant (four designations), I really enjoy exploring uncharted territory — whether that is travelling the world with my family or working on challenging assignments with my clients, I approach everything with the same wide-eyed curiosity.

I look at a client’s big picture, identifying opportunities and challenges, concerns and desires, but never lose sight of the important details that make them and their businesses special. Healthy businesses run by happy, satisfied business owners — that is my goal.

For more than 24 years, I’ve provided personalized financial counsel to individuals and small to mid-sized businesses, with an emphasis on healthcare professionals. My services focus primarily on taxation, accounting, auditing and financial reporting. Before joining TurnerMoore LLP, I sharpened my tools at the tax departments of TD Bank Financial Group and AIG Insurance Company of Canada.

Because there is always more to know in this profession, I regularly sign up for advanced tax training programs, including all CICA In-Depth Tax Courses.

Away from the office — but not entirely — I serve as Tax Director with The Fred Group Inc., a boutique tax advisory firm focused on helping companies minimize their taxes through government tax credit programs. When not working numbers, you’ll find me burning off stress on the badminton court with friends.
