After 18 years in public accounting practice (vintage 2003), including a 6-year stint on the other side in senior financial positions in/around the National Capital Region, one thing is for sure — almost everything that defines me and my career starts with the letter ‘A’. Seriously, it’s true:

Advanced Technology — I’m obsessed with cutting-edge accounting, technology and taxation practices and have a voracious appetite for tech-focused thought leadership whenever and wherever I can get my hands on it.
Algonquin College — where I completed my Honours degree in Business Administration specializing in (wait for it .. ), Accounting.
Associates — the peers I work with across Turner Moore’s diverse partner network to bring the best solutions to my clients.
Anie — my amazing daughter and my son, Patrick.
Avid Volunteer — ok, maybe a bit of a stretch using an adjective that starts with ‘A’, but between not-for-profit and charity accounting support, non-stop sponsorship of community events, almost a decade as treasurer and coach of the Cumberland Minor Hockey Association and campaign CFO for a provincial candidate, I’m something of a ‘giving back’ machine.
